Authorization & Associations


Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission

Grace Biblical Seminary has met the requirements from the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission  for exemption from applicable Georgia law (Code 20-3-250) as a religious institution.

  • GBS does not accept state or federal funds.
  • GBS cannot accept federal or state educational loan from students to pay for tuition and other fees.
  • GBS grants ministry and theological degrees.


Tax-Exempt Non-Profit Organization

Grace Biblical Seminary has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax exempt.

 

Accreditation

GBS is not accredited by a government accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. We have no plans to pursue government accreditation. The standardization and conformity required by traditional (government) accreditation would be contrary to our doctrinal beliefs, mission, and philosophy of Christian education.

 

Notice Concerning Transferability Of Credit Earned At GBS

The transferability of credits you earn at GBS is at the complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer.

Schools (TRACS) and the Association of Theological Schools (ATS).

GBS is a member of Association of Christian Distance Education (ACCESS), the leading network for Christian distance educators. The mission of ACCESS is to provide leadership in the field of Christian distance education.
